1. Preheat the oven to 180 degrees.

2. Rub the fish fillets on both sides with a tablespoon of mustard each and sprinkle with salt and pepper. Place them in the oven dish.

3. Heat oil in a frying pan and fry the onion until golden. Then add the pepper and fry until it has softened completely. This takes about 15 minutes, possibly a little longer.

4. Place the thin slices of tomato on the fish so that it is completely covered. Sprinkle cayenne pepper (note: spicy!) to taste and then pepper and salt.

5. If you like it spicy: sprinkle cayenne pepper over the paprika when it is almost ready and then divide the paprika and onion over the tomato.

6. Place the baking dish in the middle of the oven and bake the fish dish until done in 25-30 minutes.

👉🏽 This fish is delicious with mashed potatoes or possibly with rice.

Nice to know If you are late and find yourself with frozen fish, you can also smear it with the mustard and then do the rest of the recipe. When baking, the mustard will then soak into the fish. It's a little less sophisticated, but it can be done just fine.
