Food and Cooking
My love for food started when I was very young.
I come from a family where everyone was always allowed and allowed to eat with me.
It's no wonder we ended up with my own family in Italy where meals are the most important moments of a day and talking about them is the other important activity.
Over the years I have collected and exchanged numerous recipes, adapted and refined them. I have received recipes from fellow villagers, sometimes had to pry them loose, but most of the time they are happy to share. I like to share this with you. Sometimes there is a special story attached to it. You can read that at the bottom of the recipe under 'Nice to know'.

The recipes on this site are all fairly easy. Sometimes they require more skill. I indicate that with the degree of difficulty (the kokkies). To see how long it will take you to make a recipe, I have added little symbols that will help you on your way. And recipes are always for 4 people, unless otherwise indicated. Have fun cooking!
