Grilled potato slices

Patate gratinate

Ingredients 6 persons

1000 grams of firm potatoes (peeled) 300 ml whole milk

300 ml full cream

1.5 tbsp mustard

1 clove of garlic

Little nutmeg, pepper and salt

butter to grease

  • 100 grams of grated mature cheese

1. Set the oven to 200 degrees.

2. Cut the potatoes into thin slices, about as thick as a euro. 3. Put the potatoes with the cream, milk and mustard in a saucepan. Bring everything gently to a boil. Cook for 10 minutes. If you have pre-cooked potato slices, everything only needs to cook for 4-5 minutes. 4. Grease a transfer dish with a garlic clove cut in half. Then grease the dish with butter 5. Pour the potatoes with cream, milk and mustard into the dish. Sprinkle with salt and pepper and possibly a little nutmeg. 6. Now sprinkle the grated cheese on top. 7. Slide the potato gratin into the oven for 40 minutes.



👉🏽 Potato gratin is delicious with, for example, veal in balsamic sauce or pork tenderloin with mushroom sauce.
