Barbecue Sauce

Salsa barbecue

roe

For 200 ml.

1 onion 100 ml of water

1/2 lemon: the juice

1 tablespoon of mustard

2 tablespoons vinegar (neutral) 2 tablespoons brown soft sugar 8 tablespoons ketchup or thickened tomato sauce

2 tablespoons worcestershire sauce 1.5 teaspoons smoked paprika Pepper and salt

1. Finely chop the onion.

2. Put the onion together with the water, vinegar, lemon juice, mustard and brown sugar in a saucepan and put it on the heat.

3. Add salt and pepper to taste. 4. Bring the mixture to a boil and simmer for half an hour.

5. Then add the ketchup (tomato sauce), Worchestershire sauce and smoked paprika.

6. Bring to a brief boil for a few more minutes and then turn off the heat.

7. Let the barbecue sauce cool and store in the refrigerator until use.


👉🏽 For the pulled pork recipe you always need a total of 400 ml of this sauce.
